Summary:
Twilight (2008): It focuses on the development of a personal relationship between human teenager Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) and vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and the subsequent efforts of Edward and his family to keep Bella safe from a separate group of hostile vampires. The film was released theatrically starting on November 21, 2008. It grossed $35.7 million on its opening day,^[69] and has come to gross US$408.9 million worldwide. The DVD was released on March 21, 2009 and grossed an additional $181 million from sales.

The Twilight Saga: New Moon (2009): The film follows Bella Swan's fall into a deep depression until she develops a strong friendship with werewolf Jacob Black. Jacob and his tribe must protect Bella from Victoria, a vampire seeking to avenge the death of her mate by killing Bella. A misunderstanding occurs, and Edward Cullen believes Bella is dead. Edward decides to commit suicide in Volterra, Italy; but he is stopped by Bella, who is accompanied by Edward's sister, Alice. They meet with the Volturi, a powerful coven of vampires, and are released on the condition that Bella be turned into a vampire in the near future. Bella and Edward are reunited, and she and the Cullens return to Forks.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010): The film follows Bella Swan as she develops awareness of the complications of marrying Edward Cullen. As Victoria draws nearer with a group of new born vampires, Jacob Black and the rest of the werewolves form a temporary alliance to destroy her, in turn, to keep Bella safe. While Bella tries to decide who she is, a fight brews and the consequences are paid once Jacob gets hurt. Intent on keeping a compromise with Edward, she vows to keep true to her engagement and marry him.

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 (2011): During the reception following her wedding to Edward Cullen, Bella Cullen is visited by her friend Jacob Black. When Bella accidentally reveals that she and Edward plan to consummate their marriage during their honeymoon, Jacob tries to attack Edward, but his wolf pack hold him back. He then runs off into the woods, and Edward takes an upset Bella back to the reception.

The couple spend their honeymoon on the Cullens' private Brazilian island. Although hesitant, Edward has sex with Bella for the first time. After Edward realizes that he bruised Bella's arm, back and shoulders during sex, he vows to never be intimate with her again, much to her disappointment; he later gives in to her seductions. Two weeks into their honeymoon, Bella discovers that she is pregnant with the fetus growing at an extraordinarily accelerated rate. After consulting with Carlisle, they rush back to Forks. Bella refuses to consider having an abortion, and enlists Rosalie's help to protect her wishes.

Opposed to Sam Uley's plans to kill Bella and her child, that is thought to be a demon, Jacob angrily leaves the pack and arrives at the Cullens to protect Bella; Seth and Leah Clearwater join him, forming a new wolf pack. As the pregnancy progresses, Bella's health severely detoriates. As a last resort, she begins drinking blood, which satisfies the fetus and allows her to regain some strength. Soon afterward Bella goes into a painful labor and gives birth to her daughter, Renesmee. To save her life, Edward injects Bella's heart with his venom to transform her into a vampire, but nothing happens, and Bella is thought to be dead. Greatly distraught, Jacob attempts to kill the baby, but stops when he realizes he has imprinted on the child, becoming her protector.

When the werewolves learn of Bella's death, they attack the Cullen house to try to kill the baby. They are forced to stop after learning Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, which, under their wolf law, means Renesmee cannot be harmed. Bella's wounds heal and she awakens with red eyes, a new-born vampire.

In a post-credits scene, the Volturi hear about Bella's conversion; Aro notes that it does not end their dispute with the Cullens, proclaiming, "It's just the beginning. They have something I want."

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 (2012): After being brought back from near-death by Edward after childbirth, Bella begins her new life as a vampire and mother to their daughter, Renesmee, who is growing at an accelerated rate. But when Irina, a member of the Denali coven, mistakenly reports Renesmee as a human infant who has been bitten and transformed into a vampire to the Volturi, they set out to battle and destroy the Cullens for breaking vampire law. To prove Renesmee is not an immortal child, the Cullens gather foreign vampire clans, including the Denali, the Amazonian, the Egyptian, the Irish, and Romanian covens, and also European and American nomads, to stand as their witnesses to the Volturi. Aro, the Volturi leader, has ulterior motives for battling the Cullens, however. With their vampire allies and the Quileute wolf pack, the Cullens defend themselves against the Volturi.
